Who are you, on like, a metaphysical level? What lies within your brain? How do you organize your mind? It would be so interesting for me to hear that. Can you imagine how much i would learn. Can you imagine how much we can grow as people. What can we become together!

The last time i was in love, you told me everything. You told me how you decided to be plural, and only later picked out which headmates you would have. You told me of the silhouettes that watch you from the shadows. You told me how you fell into the sky.

But i was also different back then. Would i be interested in hearing all that now. Or would all of it just be another line in a text log. Another date in a full calendar. Something entirely mundane.

You might tell me your secrets, only for me to discard them as shallow. Ignore them as something obvious, something i discoverd and put into words months ago. And you simply came across the same thing...

Example

You talk about how you changed yourself, about your internal structures, about your observations of the world... But can you give an example? Why not...

No structure of thought can exist without examples. We are all just collections of data. Layers built upon the base experiences of reality. All ideas are generalizations of things we've seen before. Why would you want to separate them from their roots?

Yet some people really don't like having examples. There is vulnerability i that. Generalization leads to secrecy. Ideas are less revealing. It is a kind of intellectual defense. And i can understand that. But why would you ever lie to a friend?
